HDT Physics are disabled when pause menus are open, so "pausing" the game with SkyrimSouls installed will show you what performance you should be getting.So I have recently downloaded a bunch of mods which you can see in the picture here ( )after downloading these mods I run into multiple issue starting with the characters breasts being very large or somewhat misshaped as the picture shows here( ) now I have tried multiple things to fix this issue, one of which involving installing "Realistic Ragdolls and Force" which does make the breasts smaller like they should be however another issue then appears as the picture shows here( ) now I have reinstalled all these mods multiple times and have shifted around the load order to see if that would fix the problem and nothing came of it. To test if this is affecting you, you can install the mod SkyrimSouls (which makes the game not pause when you open menus that would normally pause the game) and see if your framerate increases (framerate must already be below 60 FPS for it to increase, of course). I love HDT physics, but it's not with decreasing my framerate by as much as 3x, so I'm unfortunately not going to be using it anymore. This was making my game nearly unplayable, even with a GTX 1080, but disabling HDT Physics Extensions made my framerate shoot straight up to 60 FPS.
Sorry if this is obvious to some people, but having HDT Physics Extensions installed appears to completely destroy performance, even if no HDT mods are installed.
